The American rating agency Fitch verifies long-term ratings for Małopolska's debt every six months. The previous assessment of debt in foreign and domestic currency at the "A-" level has just been confirmed. Thanks to this, the voivodship self-government can still be perceived as a reliable partner.

The report published by experts from the Fitch agency confirms the strong operational results and good management in the province, thanks to which the development priorities of Małopolska are consistently implemented. This translates into a stable and predictable financial situation in Małopolska, and our region is a more reliable partner for banks, even when applying for loans.

In the agency's communication, among others, the fact that the operational results of Małopolska will be strong also in the coming years - between 2018 and 2021, the operating surplus is to amount to PLN 130 million on average, and only this year - PLN 160 million, or 16 percent. operating income. Fitch also expects that the tax revenues of the voivodship will continue to grow, due to, for example, GDP growth in Poland, which experts predict by 4.8%. in 2018 and about 3 percent. in the next two years.

US experts also reported that the long-term national rating was maintained at "AAA (pol)".
